The Administrative Center of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia was located here. 10 hectares of landscaped area, 14 buildings with a total area of 33,000 square meters. The complex was built in 1997 by volunteers. Since 2000, ownership has been held by the Watch Tower, Bibles, and Tracts Society of Pennsylvania. During this time, the "Society" paid about 190,000,000 rubles in taxes to the budget of the Russian Federation. The Russian authorities intend to seize this property from a foreign organization. The appeal hearing in the St. Petersburg City Court is scheduled for May 3, 2018.
