On the night of May 20, 2017, in Izhevsk, a man entered the building on Krasnoposelskaya Street, where Jehovah's Witnesses worship were held, through a broken window. Inside, he destroyed furniture, a false ceiling, interior doors, audio and video equipment with a heavy metal object, tore out metal electrical panels, and activated fire extinguishers. Thanks to a security alert, local believers arrived at the building, with their help, the man was detained by the police. Investigative actions are being carried out. The man explained his barbaric actions by a negative attitude towards the religion of Jehovah's Witnesses.
