Case of Shishkina in Prokopyevsk

Case History

A resident of Prokopyevsk, Irina Shishkina, was prosecuted after her husband, Vasiliy. In January 2025, their home was searched, and Vasiliy was placed under house arrest. A year later, the Investigative Committee accused Irina of extremism for reading and discussing the Bible with friends. The woman was taken to sign a recognizance agreement.
